Larvotto Beach

Larvotto Beach (Avenue Princesse Grace, Monaco) — The beach is made up of two coves and stretches for 400 meters. Several ramps enable easy access to the beach, and a playground area is available along with numerous restaurants and a beach volleyball court. For more than a decade, the beach has had a Handiplage site thanks to support from the Soroptimist association. The site welcomes people with disabilities and reduced mobility to enable them to enjoy swimming in the sea. The Handiplage site is equipped with an audio-beach facility allowing blind and partially sighted users to enjoy the sea in complete freedom and safety, thanks to sound beacons which indicate their position in the water. Young Handiplage attendants greet and assist those with reduced mobility during their swim.
